Dear Colleagues,
The Primary Digital Code of Conduct is and important reminder of the expectations we have across the school with regard to using laptops, iPads and digital devices. As such, all students are required to review and sign their own copy of the CoC in school and then take it home for their parents to also read and sign. The completed document stays at home as a reminder for families and the large posters are to be on display in every classroom to support learning as a visual reminder in school.
The Primary Technology team will be delivering printed CoCs for all students and Posters for each classroom over the coming days.
Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone in school so please ensure each class spends at least 15mins reading and discussing the CoC explaining its purpose and importance before sending it home. Please do this by Friday 4th September.
You may wish to explore it through whole class activities/discussions using the online games based on the CoC - Digital Code of Conduct Games
The class poster should be used through the year to support safe, curious and kind device use.
