Windows – How to
Connect (Mac – Scroll down)
- Search for “Remote Desktop”
- You may wish to right-mouse click on Remote Desktop Connection and pin it to your task bar for future use.
- Enter in the server name: bpsnrds.patana.ac.th
- Click Show Options
- Enter your user name: e.g. bpscat\kisu
- Click Save, then
connect
- The first time you use it, it takes longer as the server is creating your profile. After that it logs in quicker.
- To close the Remote Desktop session click the Windows Start menu, click on name and Sign out.
Mac – How to Connect
- Google “Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac”
Windows App on the Mac App Store - Go to the Mac App Store to install the software
- Add PC
- Enter the following and click Save
- Double click on this
to connect.
- Enter “bpscat\<your user name> and school password. Click the box to save this data.
- Click Done and then Continue
- Welcome to the Wonderful World of Microsoft Windows and Software
- Please remember to play nicely and Sign out when done. Click on the Windows start menu, click on name and Sign out.
