SageStage download for Windows - no more web browser required!

Dear all,

Thank you for your support and on-going bug fixing and feature requests.

The local SageStage is now available for download...

Getting Sage Stage onto your computer

1. Install it.
Download it here: https://github.com/HeutaLab/SageStage/releases/download/v0.1.1/Sage.Stage_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe

Windows will say "Windows protected your PC". That's only because the app is new and Windows hasn't seen it before — nothing is wrong. Click More info, then Run anyway.

It may say at download time that the file is corrupted or malicious. It’s not. click More info and keep, then, download anyway.

2. Bring your screens across.
Do this before you make anything new in the app, because it replaces whatever's already in there.

  • In the browser version: click (top right downlaod icon) → Export everything. Save the file it gives you somewhere you'll find it again.
  • In the app: click (downlaod icon) → Import backup, and choose that file.

Your browser version keeps its own copy, so nothing can go missing.

3. Check it worked.

Add an Image widget and choose a picture. If the picture appears on the screen, you're all set - your work now saves into a folder in Documents instead of the browser, and there's no storage limit to run into anymore.

If anything looks wrong, tell me what you saw or you want to run this this with me 1:1, please get in touch.

Let me know how it goes.
