Healthy Sleep Schedules for School

My thoughts: I knew about the blue light effect from another article on its dangers here (scroll down for the infographic), but had not made the link with sleep and avoiding it before going to bed. In this short video the Mediatrician gives us all helpful tips on how to improve the quality of sleep for our children, and perhaps ourselves too?

My thoughts: lots of research now back this up - focus on one task and get it done! Two thirds of the population believes a myth that has been propagated for over a century: that we use only 10% of our brains. Hardly! Our neuron-dense brains have evolved to use the least amount of energy while carrying the most information possible -- a feat that requires the entire brain. In the second video Richard E. Cytowic debunks this neurological myth (and explains why we aren't so good at multitasking).
