Year 6 students are continuing to support the A21 charity, which works to combat human trafficking. Human trafficking is a serious crime that affects millions of people around the world, including children.
The A21 charity helps people who have been trafficked to escape and get help. They also work to educate people about human trafficking and how to prevent it.
Here are some of the things that the A21 charity does:
- They help to rescue people who have been trafficked and bring them to safety.
- They provide food, shelter, clothing, and medical care to victims of trafficking.
- They help victims of trafficking to rebuild their lives.
- They educate people about human trafficking and how to prevent it.
Last year, Year 6 students donated to the A21 charity's "Walk for Freedom" event. The Walk for Freedom is a big event where people from all over the world walk together to show that they don't like slavery. Slavery is when people are forced to work or do things they don't want to do, and they often don't get paid. The Walk for Freedom is a way to say that slavery is wrong and that we want to stop it.
Year 6 students also collected Christmas backpacks filled with essentials and toys for children who have been rescued from trafficking. In addition, they raised more money for the charity later in the year which we are currently in the process of donating.
Year 6 students are passionate about supporting the A21 charity because they believe that everyone deserves to be free. They are also aware that human trafficking is a global problem, and they want to do their part to help.
We are very proud of the Year 6 students for their continued support of the A21 charity. Their efforts are making a real difference in the fight against human trafficking.
