Year 5 Bring, Buy and Bake Sale Success!
On Thursday, our Year 5 students hosted a fantastic Bring, Buy and Bake Sale—and what an incredible event it turned out to be! In the days leading up to the sale, the children threw themselves wholeheartedly into preparations. Many of them spent their afternoons in the kitchen, measuring flour, cracking eggs and decorating cupcakes, cookies and brownies with tremendous care. Others took thoughtful time to sort through their toy boxes at home, selecting pre‑loved books, games and toys that they felt would make another child smile. Their enthusiasm and generosity were wonderful to see.
Our amazing Year 5 students have been spreading Christmas cheer by collecting and creating festive gift boxes for the Home of Grace charity! Each box was lovingly decorated and packed with thoughtful surprises to bring smiles, warmth, and comfort to children in need. Their kindness, creativity, and generosity truly captured the spirit of the season and made a real difference this Christmas.
Year 5 did a fantastic job yesterday selling a wide range of items, including toys, games, books, and delicious baked goods. Children and parents from across the Primary School came to browse, shop, and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere throughout the day.
As a year group, Year 5 raised an incredible 117,500 baht — an outstanding achievement! Every baht will go directly to the Cambodian Clean Water Project, helping to fund the construction of new wells. These wells will provide safe, clean drinking water for families who currently don’t have access. This will truly transform lives, supporting not just drinking needs, but also gardening, cooking, washing clothes, and showering.
Year 5 students have raised around 162,000 baht during our sponsored Basketball event.
We explored how charity work is good for the mind and character development during our PSHE lessons. Year 5 have certainly given of themselves through taking part in this event.
Well done.
