It is so rewarding for our children to learn about the impact their fundraising has. This will be shared by class teachers before the end of term.
In Term 3, the Y4 children learn all about Fun Fairs and making interactive funfair games. After weeks of planning and building and advertising their unique games, the fairs open to customers including parents and other year groups.
This year is the second year the fun fair has run and we are proud to announce that a total of xxxx Baht was raised this year. These funds will be split between our two charities, The Good Shepherds and The Mercy Center.
One of the ways the Good Shepherds raise money and support women is by teaching them the skills needed to make a variety of crafts which they sell at fairs. The resources needed to make these crafts, and the finished crafts need to be stored safely before sale. Sister Louise reached out with some pictures of their current storage situation. See the pictures below.
In June 2026, using the funds raised by last years Y4 children, we donated 130,000 Bht to the Good Shepherds so they could employ a carpenter to build some bespoke wooden storage solutions for this space.
Please read this newsletter which gives a summary of the work done by this charity which the Year 4 children support.
On the final day of term 1b, a truck was loaded up ready to drive across the city to Din Dang. There, the sisters at the Good Shepherds will distribute the presents to the children who attend their kindergarten.
