Living our Values
We are balanced and fulfilled
It was lovely to have the Y10 students come to Y3 today to spread some Christmas cheer and create some crafts with the younger students.
A note from the Principal
This week,
we have enjoyed two special events. On Wednesday, we joined 32 members of our choir
at the British Club for an evening of carols. It was the most magical night
under the stars and made us reflect on how fortunate we are to be part of such
a diverse community and in such a special place, Thailand! On Thursday, Y5 did
themselves and teachers extremely proud with their bring, buy and bake sale. A
huge amount of creativity and hard work went into this – well done to all.
Next week, is the end of our busy term. We are all looking forward to a week of
festivities, including the Primary staff party, the Christmas concert and the
Christmas assembly. Our paperless reports will be published on Friday and this
document provides a snapshot of your child’s progress and attainment thus far.
We are currently undertaking a review of our assessment and reporting
practices, as we look to make them more relevant and meaningful.
This will be my last note of the year and so I would like to take this
heartfelt opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New
Year. Thank you, parents, for all your ongoing support, open dialogue and
commitment.

Book return!!
Please can you help your child to return any outstanding reading books to Y3. We have a significant amount of books missing from the stage 7-9 book boxes. You help with this is much appreciated!
Wellbeing
Gift Giving
Giving gifts to friends and family is a lovely thing.
However, we do not expect or encourage gifts from a family to the whole class.
Edible gifts can cause problems for some families, and we do not allow sweets/candy in school.
Many of our students are giving gifts to families and children in need -and this we completely support. You could support our Y3 Charity drive if you so wish!
Christmas Spirit day
On Friday 16th, the last day of term your child is welcome to come to school dressed in festive clothes or festive coloured clothes. It should be a fun day! We have our first whole school Christmas assembly in year! Followed by lots of fun activites in class.
Residential
Thank you for attending the meeting about Residentials last week. If you missed it you can watch a screencast and find more information on the Residential blog page here: patana.fireflycloud.asia/year-3/y3-residential-blog---2023
Global Citizenship

Please ensure any snack or Birthday cakes/doughnuts that come into school are nut free. This is to ensure we are keeping all our students safe as ewe have some students in the Y3/4 Building who have severe nut allergies. Thank you for your help with this.
