A note from the Principal
We have all enjoyed our first week back, and it was great to
see our students return from their mid-terms full of energy and enthusiasm.
This
morning, I was welcomed by over 140 little Pirates, all beaming with excitement
as they enjoyed their special day in Year 2! I also took a moment to soak in
the warmth of the Foundation Stage setting—it was such a joy to see the wealth
of toys and resources sparking curiosity, parents and children cozied up for a
story, teachers greeting families with genuine warmth, a fresh lavender bush
beginning to bloom in the garden, and children working together to build a
river in the sandpit.
It was a beautiful reminder of the care, connection, and creativity that fill
our school every day.
We hope you have a relaxing break next week!
A note from the Principal
A huge congratulations this week to all the students who
took part in our 3-day Choral Festival, with visiting artist Lin Marsh. We
loved welcoming 15 other schools to Patana Primary for a showcase of music,
signing, drama and art. With huge thanks to Lin and our Creative Arts team for
organising such a special event!
Have a wonderful mid-term break and see you on Monday, 17 February!
