A note from the Principal
This week has brought with it two standout moments of pride for our school community.
The children have been very inquisitive and rigous in their Science learning.

We had a lot of very excited – and understandably rather tired – Year 2 friends returning home today after completing their magical sleepover experience. For many, it was their very first night away from home with school friends, and they embraced the adventure with courage, joy, and a real sense of independence. A huge thank you to all the staff involved for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience for our youngest campers.

This week, I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in classrooms across the Primary School. It has been a joy to see our students so engaged in their learning—asking thoughtful questions, collaborating with their peers, and showing real curiosity and creativity in their work. Thank you to all our teachers and teaching assistants for creating such vibrant and purposeful learning environments.
Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate our upcoming Sports Festivals next week! These events are always a highlight of the year—full of teamwork, determination, and plenty of Patana Tiger spirit. We look forward to seeing our students challenge themselves, cheer each other on, and have lots of fun in the process.

Dear Parents,
What a showstopper! This week, our talented Year 6 students lit up the stage with their spectacular production of Aladdin. With two dress rehearsals and two outstanding performances for parents, they wowed us all with their energy, singing, dancing, and stage presence. These moments showcase more than talent — they build lifelong skills in communication, confidence, and creativity. Huge thanks to the team behind the scenes and our brilliant students for such a magical experience. A proud week to be Principal!
We have been learning the safety rules for the DT lab. We have also learnt to measure, mark and saw.

A real highlight for the Primary team this week was Thursday’s CPL Day – a dedicated time for our teachers and teaching assistants to come together to reflect, learn and grow. With keynote talks on sustainable product design and the impact of social media, technology updates, time to explore our new report guidance, and a chance to showcase staff professional development, it was a valuable and energising day for all involved.
