A note from the Principal

This week, I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in classrooms across the Primary School. It has been a joy to see our students so engaged in their learning—asking thoughtful questions, collaborating with their peers, and showing real curiosity and creativity in their work. Thank you to all our teachers and teaching assistants for creating such vibrant and purposeful learning environments.

Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate our upcoming Sports Festivals next week! These events are always a highlight of the year—full of teamwork, determination, and plenty of Patana Tiger spirit. We look forward to seeing our students challenge themselves, cheer each other on, and have lots of fun in the process.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend.

This term, we will be learning Mighty Metals. This theme runs through both Science and Literacy. If you would like to find out more please click on the picture above.

Swimming

We’re happy to see our Year 3 students back in the pool and enjoying their swimming lessons. Swimming is a key part of the curriculum — not just for fitness and enjoyment, but as a vital life skill, especially here in Thailand where water-based activities are a big part of everyday life.

We kindly ask for your full support in encouraging your child to take part in swimming. Positive conversations at home can make a big difference, especially if your child is feeling uncertain or anxious. Consistent participation helps build confidence and competence.

If your child is unable to swim for medical reasons, please provide a doctor’s note. For any questions, feel free to contact the PE department at jaju@patana.ac.th.

Save the date! The Year 3 Swimming Gala will take place in the 25m pool on Thursday 5 June, from 10:00am to 12:10pm. More details to follow.
