Learning Intention:
Can I apply my Paint.NET skills?
Success Criteria
I can apply my Paint.NET skills that I have learned from previous lessons for my own future landscape.
You are going to make your own imaginary landscape with a mobile water filtration or desalination plant.
You can use this image below as your starting idea. You DO NOT have to copy this image or style.
Below, you can use any of the images in the Google Drive folder. Simply 'ADD TO MY DRIVE' as you did in lesson 1.
Click on any of the images to get to the drive or inside the drive itself.
Below in BLUE you can see the the .PDN file I am using to make these mobile water plants. If you'd like to start with my example and take it apart then you can.
However, if you do, you will be graded at a lower rank if you choose to. So be brave!
Two extra tools you'll need to succeed:
1. Lasso tool. Lets you cut things out.
2. Photo effects: Vignetting - making the corners of your image darker.
You can search for images here at these two sites. However you won't get the selection you do from Google. They are, though, 'free for use'.
It's important to note that most images you search for would be OK with you using them for personal or educational use - just as you can copy up to 10% of nearly all books for school use.
Tip: in Kindle, you can screenshot all pages. Once you reach 10% (or the author quota) you can no longer screenshot that book.

And, photos for class.
Success Criteria
I can Search for and Save suitable images
Using Google Image search you will be able to find great backgrounds and layers to add.
When looking for background images it is a good idea to filter the results to find larger images - this gives you more pixels to play with! How does adding png to your image search help you?
