Parents:

If you would like to get a 3Dprint of your child's model (or any model they make now or in the future) then please look to at3dprint.com and find a printer here in Bangkok. They will print and deliver in most materials.

So, if you'd like wood, metal or plastic then you can do this too.

To begin...

Simply go Tinkercad and sign in with your child to see their models. Choose the model and click on download.

Click on .STL file and download.

Over on at3dprint.com

You can add them on Line and send via your desktop:

N.B. You made need to edit your model if there are many parts. Make sure the parts are fixed together or else you cannot send to the printers.

Children, go to your friends blogs and comment on their models that they posted from last week.

If you haven't finished then you can edit your model and re-post in your blog page.

An example of a good post to your friend's pages:

Hey Sarah, I really like the model you have made. It have a really good likeness to the Taj Mahal in India. The spires and roof is really detailed. I also like the windows you have put in there too. I can see that you have copied and pasted the parts to make it symmetrical.

One thing I might add as a wish, is that I would have taken more time on the doors to get the same detail you have on the other parts of your model.

Take a look at my model and tell me what you think of it. :)

Tips: Be informal, be friendly and talk to your friends like you do in class. It's ok to add an emoji to the end but keep it at a single emoji.

You are doing well if:

  1. You have used correct spelling and grammar
  2. You have used their name
  3. You have looked closely and offered two pieces of praise
  4. You have offered good advice on their next steps
  5. You have been very positive
  6. You have used only one emoji

    1. Only if you want to. You can make something else and print that. Use some pocket money to make one if you like as well. :)

        1. I think you need to call them and ask them or ask your parents to add them on Line/ Facebook or send your model to the shop to find out. If you want a huge model made out of metal it will cost more than a plastic model that is really small. :)

            1. Hi Medi, you can print the picture if you like. However, we are making 3D models so you would be better off trying to print at the shop. It's not compulsory to print - just a nice thing to know about and try!
