Pre-Tiger Spirit Day Roarrrrr… with our Year 3 Student Council!

On Wednesday, 1st October, our Year 3 Student Council shared some exciting and important messages about Tiger Spirit Day during our Year 3 assembly. The year 3 students also learned about Thomas House, our Year 3 charity partner, and how we can support their meaningful work.

Thomas House is a special place that provides care and support for children in need. You can read more about Thomas House HERE.

The Student Council also introduced some of the charity events we will be doing this academic year to raise funds for Thomas House and our main charity, including the Christmas Collection, Busking Day, Smile Day, and of course, Tiger Day!

Tiger Day is the day when Patana students, teachers, and staff come together to show their school spirit by dressing up in tiger-themed outfits — tiger ears, tails, or face paint — or by wearing orange and black. For this event, students are invited to bring 100 baht to school as a donation. To earn this money, they are encouraged to help out at home — perhaps by washing dishes, walking their dogs, or cleaning their parents’ car.

Our Student Council did an amazing job sharing all this information with the whole year group. It took a lot of courage and leadership skills! They practiced their speeches during lunchtime, and some even rehearsed at home with their mums and dads to make this assembly as fun and engaging as possible.

We are so proud of our Year 3 Student Council for their enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork. They truly nailed it! We can’t wait to see them shine again in our upcoming events!
