Year 2 held their Term Two Community Fundraising Event, the Spell-a-thon, on Friday 4th March. This event proved to be very popular and highly successful. This was a non-competitive event with children encouraged to do their best and enjoy themselves.
The Spell-a-thon also raises important funds for our sponsored charity Children of the Forest, located in Kanchanaburi Province.
We are very pleased to announce that Year 2 raised a fantastic ฿128,500.
Through discussions with Patana staff and Children of the Forest, they have decided to put the money towards paying for a part-time sports coach. We all felt this was a wonderful use of the money since sports and well-being form such a crucial component of a wholistic education.
A huge thank you to the wonderful efforts of Year 2 students and the generous Patana School community.
