Year 1 welcomed their arms and their hearts to their friends from Grapongdeang School this Tuesday during our first play date of the year. It was wonderful to see the kindness and care our Year 1 students showed to their younger visitors. Year 1 have been learning about Grapongdeang School and fundraising for them all year. Now, the our Year 1 children have a deeper understanding about their connection to their wider environment and communities. They know that the Grapongdeang students are the same as them in so many ways but do not have the same access to beautiful outdoor spaces and amazing toys. It felt good to share!
