10. Media: Images Creating a Personal Google Doodle

Can you create your own Google Doodle for yourselves as a project based on you or your interests. You can see them at the link above.

Usually, a Google Doodle is based on a famous person, a special day or a world-wide event, say, the Olympics.

Some of them move as part of a file called a GIF. We know GIFs through chat, but they take a long time to make properly. We will make a flat image.

You will need to :

1. Look at the Google Doodle Page and find an event, a cause or a style you like.

2. Think about what images you will need in your Google Doodle. Do you need a photo of you for example? Do you need a flag? Do you need a background? Do you need matching colours?

3. Collect your images together.

4. To create your image you will need these sizes: 1000 x 400 px.

6. Once you have all your images together, you can use your knowledge of layers to make a collage on a topic of your choice just like a Google Doodle.

7. Once it's made, you can post to the Year 5 Digital Art Channel in teams here. Make sure you save it as a PNG file.
