Good morning FS1 and FS2: click the links to find the video from your class teacher!
We have had so much wonderful learning shared from home that we have now created a 'Sharing Our Learning' gallery on the main page so we can keep on adding more!
These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
This week in Foundation Stage we are going to become....
If you missed any Little Scientist Learning learning this week you can go back to find out more here:
Phase 1 -Research - Here
Phase 2 - Explore and Observe - Here
Phase 3 - Predict and Test Ideas - Here
Yesterday, you tested some of those interesting ideas you came up with while researching, exploring and observing. You made some predictions; did it work the way you expected them to? If it did it’s great that you used the knowledge you already had to guess what may happen. If your prediction wasn’t right then that is fantastic! It means that you have learnt something new and probably have lots more questions to explore.
Now it’s time to think carefully about what happened and to see if you can change or improve your idea. Will you add something else to use your new knowledge to predict what may happen this time? You might try your experiment again to try and focus on why something interesting happened. I wonder if you can think of any ideas to make your experiment even better.

Mindfulness!
It’s a great idea to have your child take part in some relaxing meditation. Did you know that meditation can help our young children to build emotional resilience, breathe properly, let go of big emotions, and focus on the present moment. Building meditation into your child’s routine will allow them to develop good habits in life, such as being kind and accepting. Enjoy the Friendly Wishes meditation.

Sensory Play - guess the sound!
For this activity we are practicing focusing on our sense of hearing. Listen to the sounds on this video and guess what you can hear:
กิจกรรมนี้ เป็นกิจกรรมเพื่อช่วยฝึกฝนสัมผัสในการฟัง เด็กๆลองฟังเสียงในวีดีโอด้านล่างนี้ และลองเดาว่า เสียงที่ได้ยินคือเสียงอะไร
You could go on a listening walk and draw a map with all the sounds you can hear. Every time you hear a sound, stop and draw what you can hear. Challenge: See if you can find 5 different sounds.
Thai Translation
