Purple people!

Wednesday 21st September, was International Day of Peace and FSP have been working hard to be purple people!

Take a look at how we have been purple people this week!

Asking great questions

Working together

Friendships are blossoming in FSP and it is lovely to see new friendships being made, whilst cherishing old ones too.

The children are really enjoying working together. Which is developing  their skills in: Problem solving, sharing, taking turns and listening.

Take a look at some of the fun FSP have had with their friends this week!

FSP Went to the Little Paws Gym!

Hello wonderful FSP parents! I am Ms Gemma and I am the Foundation Stage Physical Development Specialist.

A little bit about me: I studied a Bachelor of Physical Education and Health at Deakin University in Melbourne Australia. This is my fourth year working at BPS but my tenth year teaching in Bangkok. I come from both Australia and the UK and I have taught in the UK, Australia and of course Thailand.

FSP are going to have a wonderful year ahead spending lots of time in our Little Paws Gym!

The Gingerbread Man

Active Learning

Being involved and concentrating

FSP continued to enjoy the story the Gingerbread Man this week. It has been a firm favourite for story times and the children have enjoyed re-enacting the story with playdough! By kneading, rolling,  pulling and pressing the children have been developing their fine motor skills whilst having lots of fun! The children have enjoyed decorating by pushing buttons into the dough and putting them in the toy oven to cook. Many of the gingerbread men have come to life, just like in the story and It has been wonderful to hear the children repeating the phrase "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!"

Another busy week in FSP!

We have had another fantastic week in FSP. The children have been so busy and have started to develop their friendships.

This term we are focusing on encouraging the children's Personal, Social and Emotional development while they settle into FS2. This includes:

  • Self-confidence and self-awareness
  • Managing feelings and behavior
  • Making relationships
