Year 6 support A21
On Friday 6th March during lunchtime, Year 6 students took part in a sponsored run in the Sports Hall to raise money for the charity A21, which works to combat human trafficking and support vulnerable people around the world.
Students challenged themselves to run as many laps as possible within the time, showing impressive determination and resilience. The Sports Hall was full of energy as students encouraged one another and pushed themselves to keep going.
The event was not only about fundraising. As part of our Migration unit, it also encouraged students to reflect on the journeys many migrants face. By giving up their lunchtime play and persevering through the challenge, students experienced a small glimpse of the effort, determination and hardship that can be part of long journeys in search of safety and opportunity.
During Term 1, our Year 6 students took part in a meaningful and heartwarming project to support the A21 Campaign charity.
Each student thoughtfully prepared a Christmas backpack filled with essential items and small gifts for children supported by A21 across the Greater Bangkok area. From toiletries to toys, every item was carefully chosen with kindness and generosity in mind.
In addition to the backpacks, we were incredibly grateful to receive a very generous donation of clothing from our school community. These items were also distributed to families in need, helping to make a real difference during the festive season.
