Learning Task: Visit your Google Classroom (Technology) to access the different tasks. Start with Task 1.

Lesson 3: Science (10-10:40am)

Before you start your Science, please visit the FlipGrid from last week’s Science learning. Listen or read any feedback you received and give 2 other students feedback on their experiment.
Can I consolidate my learning?
Learning Task: To share your understanding of electricity with a chosen audience.
Resources: Laptop
How will you share your learning: FlipGrid
Time Frame: 1 lesson (40 Minutes)
Task:
- Choose one area of our electricity learning that you would like to share and explain to someone else (there is a separate box underneath with the different areas we have covered to remind you)
- Choose your audience who you would like to share your understanding with (e.g. a younger sibling, a parent, another Y6 student)
- Decide how you will present your learning (here are some suggestions):
- Act it out
- Re-enact the experiment
- Draw it
- Create a mind-map
- Create a poster
- Share your learning on our FlipGrid (if this is not acting, share an image of your learning with your teacher)
- Making predictions (when we did the 4 different experiments in the Science lab)
- Explaining how electricity works and how the electrons move around a circuit
- How the periodic table is structure
- What an atom looks like
- How electrons move around an atom and how that links to electricity
- Understanding and explaining why some materials conduct electricity and some don't
- How static electricity is generated (created)

Lesson 5: Literacy (1-1:40pm)
Can I write my persuasive speech?
Learning Task: You have already planned your ideas. Today, you are going to start writing your persuasive speech. You have 2 days to do this, so you may want to focus on your introduction and your first two arguments today.
Resources: laptop, your plan from yesterday’s lesson, the writing frame
How will I share my learning?
Click on the writing frame to make a copy. Move it into your class’s shared google folder.
Time frame: 2 lessons (80 minutes)...Wednesday and Thursday
Task: Read ALL of the 5 steps before you start.
- Look at Miss Hannah’s plan from yesterday.
- Read Miss Hannah’s speech (see the writing frame document).
- Has she included the success criteria (see the writing frame document)?
- Open your plan from yesterday’s lesson.
- Scroll down the writing frame document to find your blank writing frame. Use the prompts to start to write your speech.

You will need a skipping rope for your PE lesson on Friday.
