Task:
Read your book for 20 minutes. Imagine a genie lands at the point at which you have stopped reading and grants one of the characters three wishes.
Based on your understanding of your chosen character, answer the following questions.
What does your character wish for and why?
Are the wishes good choices? Explain your answer.
Would their wishes change anything about the story? If so, explain how.
If you were given 3 wishes, what would they be and why?
How would your wishes impact the lives of others?
Extension: Connecting a text to yourself
Based upon the book you are currently reading or one that you have read, share a story with a family member or friend about yourself that is related to a character or event in the book.

Can I create a timetable?
Learning Task: During the holidays many of you may be looking for ideas to entertain and satisfy your curious natures. Many of you may still want to keep a routine so you don't get bored or miss your friends too much. You are going to create a 2 week x 5 day time-table for Songkran. After reading through the activities on the following slides, insert the activity name into the cells - you may have other ideas to include.

Time Frame: this will depend on you...how many activities can you realistically complete in two weeks?
How will I share my learning?
- Go to the Songkran Folder in your class google drive.
- Create a folder eg: Hannah’s Songkran
- Make a copy of the timetable template.
- Make a copy of the Songkran Memory Book Google Slides
- Move them to your own Songkran folder.
