A note from the Principal

A busy week for us in Primary, with our Y4, Y5 and Y6 attending the highly anticipated Residentials. I was lucky to join our Y5 students in Khao Yai for one night and be the guest judge at the Talent Show.

We had a lot of fun and our students really must be commended for their exemplary behaviour and their courage and kindness which shone throughout. A huge thank you to all our leaders, teachers, business staff, transport department and nursing team who work so hard to make our Residentials such a success.

Many thanks to the 80 parents who have completed our short parent survey our new report template. If you haven’t had a chance yet, the link is here. We really appreciate your time and feedback.

Wellbeing

Air Pollution

At this time of year we notice a change in the Air Quality in Bangkok.

In the morning before school starts when we have the Status:

Unhealthy

From 7am onwards, Year 3 students should come inside and go to their classroom where there will be teachers supervising them safely inside.

Parents are encouraged to drop their children at the doors .

We please kindly ask parents not to come into this space as it may become crowded and full.

Should your child arrive before 7am on any day they should go directly to the Primary Office until duty staff begin to supervise.

Please find the school policy for Air Quality Here

ADHD Presentation

Thank you to all who attended our ADHD presentation. The SFL department examined the definitions of ADHD, the current science, diagnosis procedures, and types of treatments. We also explained different techniques and strategies used in KS1 and KS2, as well as some tips and strategies useful for home. If you have any questions, please reach out to the SFL teacher in the year group. Presentation Link
