Living our values:

It was great to see so many children sharing their musical talents during Perfomance Week and I know many are looking forward to the opportunity to perform again at Patana Primary next week.

A note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

This week, I had the most marvellous of trips down to the Fobisia Games in Pattaya. Our Year 5 & Year 6 students performed so well, but what stood out for me was the commitment, sportsmanship and community spirit. Thanks so much to our PE team for their superb care and organisation and to our parents who were there for the whole week!

A reminder from our Admissions teams: If you are travelling this summer and require documents from school to support your visa applications, or you need to extend your Thai visas, please note that the deadline to apply is Friday 14th June. Please see last week’s Patana News reminder for more information and a link to apply.

Finally, don’t forget to complete our annual survey if you haven’t already. Here is the Survey link

Year 3 Swimming: Pajama swim !

LIFESAVING AND WATER SAFETY: Please can all students in 3L, 3D, 3M and 3T bring Pajamas or a lightweight long sleeved top and shorts / long trousers to their swimming lesson next week on Tuesday 11th June.

The other 4 classes 3G, 3H, 3F, 3L will have their lifesaving lesson on Thursday 13th.

All students will be learning vital lifesaving and water safety skills, wearing these clothes over the top of their swim kits. Therefore please do not forget to bring your actual swim kits to the lesson as well!

A plastic bag for wet clothes is also recommended!

School Shoes

School shoes for August

Primary students are expected to wear white socks and plain black shoes to school.

Most of our students will have bigger feet by August, so please add these items to your shopping list for the holidays.

PE and Swimming information

Please find below the PE curriculum for Year 3 students

Just a reminder that all children must bring their school uniform to change into after their PE lessons. Any further questions please contact jaju@patana.ac.th

Y5 Bring Buy and Bake sale

We’d love the Year 3 children to come along and buy some of the pre-loved toys, games and books, as well as fresh cakes and cookies. This event is to raise money for the Y5 charity. We suggest bringing 100 - 150 baht. Thanks.

Reading Books

As the year draws to a close, please can we ask you and your child to check at home for any Y3 reading books. Please return any extras to your child's class.

Recycling Plastic bottle tops

We are championing an initiative to recycle plastic bottle caps. They must be type 2 plastic; this information can be found on the underside of the bottle cap.

Please bring in any clean caps that you have at home and put them in the green box in the shared area. We will collect them together and arrange for them to be sent to be recycled, where they will be turned into tables for local schools.

Every small step we each take makes a difference.

Thank you for your support.
