Well-being

Next week is the final week of Block B ECAs.  There will then be a two week break before Block C begins.  Please ensure that you have noted this and your child knows that this is the final week of Block B ECAs.    

Key ECA dates: 

• Monday 23rd January 2023 ECA Confirmations available online. Phase II opens 17:00
• Thursday 26th January 2023 Phase II closes 23:59
• Monday 13^th February 2023 ECA programme commences
• Friday 31st March 2023 ECA programme finishes.

Our theme for this half term is 'Once Upon a Time'.  You can find out more about this on the Y1 Curriculum Page.  

General Information

School photographs

The schedule for the Y1 classes is as follows: 

Monday 23rd - 1W

If your child normally wears their PE kit to school on that day, please make sure that they wear their school uniform and pack their PE kit in their bag.  We will provide time for them to change after the photos have been taken.  Black school shoes should also be worn. 

Dance 

The Dance academy presents – Tiger Cats Challenge and Adjudicated Showcase 2023, school’s first dance competition style event! While many of our dancers have already signed up, we are still inviting in sign-ups for the solo and duet categories. This event will take place on the Thursday 16^th February at the Rosamund Stuetzel Theatre between 1PM- 5PM.. Professional adjudicators have been invited to judge the competition and some spectacular dance performances by external dance crews are to be expected as well! You do not have to be enrolled in dance ECAs to participate in this competition. All dance styles are welcome. If you have any questions, please write to us at dance@patana.ac.th

Dance Extravaganza 2023

The Dance Academy is now inviting sign-ups for their annual Dance Showcase – The Dance Extravaganza 2023. The event will be held on Monday June 12^th in the theatre. Previous dance experience isn’t required, and all primary and secondary students are welcome to join. To sign up, please use the parent gateway and sign up for the Dance extravaganza ECAs. This year, we will be exploring the concept of ‘Freedom’ through dance, movement, music, and emotional expression.

Snacks - Nut Free School

We provided tasty and nutritious snacks each day for the students in class. As some of our children have allergies, please ensure any food sent to school does not contain any sort of nut.

Birthday celebrations

We cannot give out party bags or gifts - please keep these for any sort of celebration that you do out of school.

If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher. We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies, doughnuts or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut-free Primary School.
