Nursery Continuing Student Learning Tuesday 21st September

Learning Advice for Parents

We are looking for children to use everyday materials to explore, understand and represent their world through their ideas, interests and fascinations.

Learning Focus

Today we are dressing as 'Superheroes!'

I wonder what your superhero is wearing? The outfit might only be a scarf cape or a different colour to us, but to your child, the outfit embodies the idea of superhero dispositions and allows them to make believe by pretending.

I wonder what powers your superhero might have?

Do you have x-ray eyesight?

Do you have the power to fly?

Are you incredibly strong?

Is your superpower kindness and caring?

Many superheroes are INCOGNITO. This means that they hide their identity behind a mask. You might like to make a mask today too. By offering a simple template your child can be more creative about the colours, the media and the shape that they choose.

Promoting Independence

Getting Dressed

Dressing and undressing involves some important key fine motor skills, but also just as importantly the skills to keep on trying and being resilient if things don’t go right the first time!

Active Learning

Getting Dressed Challenge

You might like to have a ‘getting dressed’ challenge. Use a timer to see how many clothes you can put on before the time runs out.

This is a great, getting dressed song:

Story Time

I Could Be, You Could Be

We can be anything we choose in our imagination…

We Love to See Your Learning!

We really love to see videos and photos of what you have been doing at home. The best way to share this with us is via the Seesaw App. You should have received communication about how to download and login to the app. If you have not received this, please email the ISIT helpdesk- helpdesk@patana.ac.th

We hope that you enjoy engaging with our Nursery Blog.

If you have any concerns or queries about your child’s learning, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher via email. They can then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet via MS Teams. Our class teachers always welcome the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and progress.
