Our Wonderful Learning
What a fantastic week of learning we have seen in Nursery! Your teachers and TAs have loved seeing the learning and experiences you have been sharing during your SGL calls.
Learning Advice for Parents
Role Play supports so many different areas of learning.
- Using imagination and beginning to create story lines
- Development of language and communication
- Problem solving skills
- Simple maths concepts
Learning Focus
Create a Role Play Cafe
Can you set up a cafe to make food for your family? We wonder what food you will serve; perhaps it will be noodles, maybe pizza, sushi or tea and cake?
We wonder what your child’s favourite food is?
Ms Jane’s favourite food is Pavlova and Ms Carol’s is noodles.
Promoting Independence
Can you help to prepare your own lunch?
Independence is so important in normal everyday routines. Chopping and peeling helps to develop fine motor skills. When your child helps to prepare their own food they may be more inclined to eat it.
Active Learning
The Penguin Dance
Action songs develop language as children learn the words, they also support the development of your child’s gross motor skills such as balance, strength and coordination.
Story Time
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
We Love to See Your Learning!
We really love to see videos and photos of what you have been doing at home. The best way to share this with us is via the Seesaw App. You should have received communication about how to download and login to the app. If you have not received this, please email the ISIT helpdesk- helpdesk@patana.ac.th
Resource Packs
If you have picked up your child's resource pack, they may already be very excited to explore what's inside. Whilst there may be times that we encourage the use of certain resources, we would love for your child to have access to these, whenever they wish. Below are some ideas about how you can enhance this learning.
Home-School Communication
We hope that you enjoy engaging with our Nursery Blog.
If you have any concerns or queries about your child’s learning, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher via email. They can then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet via MS Teams. Our class teachers always welcome the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and progress.
