Well-being
Snacks Bar reopens for Year 5
The snack bar will reopen for Year 5 students on Monday. Students will visit the snack bar with their class teacher at a scheduled time to ensure social distancing is maintained.
Students who wish to use the snack bar can bring in a maximum of 200 baht to put on their Patana cards. We advise students to leave their Patana card at school so that it doesn't get lost.
ATK testing
Remember to submit your child's ATK testing before after the school holidays. Please refer to the email from the school for further details.
ECA Block 3
Dance Academy
The Dance Academy's annual dance showcase better known as the Dance Extravaganza is set to take place on the 6th and 7th of June 2022 and the sign-up has begun! The academy uses ECA Block 3 & 4 to prepare for the show.
To sign up for the show, students must sign up for Block 3 via parent gateway.
The Academy coaches are committed to creating a wonderful show for both primary and secondary students. The one thing dancers of all levels love and deserve is their moment on stage. Due to covid19, this wonderful opportunity couldn't be made available as we couldn't host this major event for the past two years.
Any ECAs which are cancelled due to Covid will be refunded as will costume fees if the show does not go ahead. Just like with all things learning and education, we do believe dance is best-experienced face to face, and supporting kids who love dancing/stage to do just that, whilst still maintaining Covid19 related protocols is our aim this year. Dance can have a major positive impact on mental and physical health so let's get moving together!
Learning
PE
Next week, we continue 'try a new sports week.' Students should bring swim kits into school for all water-based sports they may wish to try.
From Monday 24th
January:
All students will be starting their Teeball unit, beginning Monday 24th January, and they will require football boots / moulded studs. Please ensure your child has the correct footwear for their first Teeball lesson.
Dance and Mini Tennis activities require Patana PE kit and
water bottle. Teeball also requires
football boots .
Home Learning and Class Blogs - there is no home learning over the holidays

Global Citizenship
Events In The World
If you would like your child to be aware of world news and events but find it too overwhelming, have a look at Newsround for a more age-appropriate version of current events.
You can also access First News and The Week along with a wide selection of other magazines in our Primary Library. Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class.

Birthdays
We are a NUT FREE school. Please when ordering birthday treats double check before bringing treats on the campus. Many toppings offered by some donut shops have flaked almonds in their toppings and peanut butter fillings.
- Individual treats can be brought into school with your child in the morning.
- Please agree a time with the teacher in advance.
- Children will be expected to eat any birthday treats in their classroom.
- Unfortunately, parents can not join in the celebrations.
- Your child's class teacher will however share a photograph with you.
General Information
Temporary Guardianship Form - let us know if both parents are going away and leaving a student with a friend, nanny or a maid.
