Learning

Parent Teacher Meetings

It has been wonderful to meet many of you already at parent teacher meetings this week. If you were unable to make an appointment please do contact your child's class teacher, who will be able to book one for you.

A reminder that all meetings are face to face meetings in school.

However if you would like your appointment to be conducted online, through MS Teams, please inform your child's class teacher.

Term 1A

Please visit our Curriculum Pages for more information about learning in Year 4.

Science

Over the coming weeks the students will begin to learn about the effects of chocolate on our bodies.

As part of this learning they will explore teeth and become student dentists. For this lesson the students will need to bring a toothbrush and toothpaste from home.

Class teachers will contact parents, via email, to share the date of when this lesson will take place.

Reading

Students are encouraged to change Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) books every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Please encourage your child to return and exchange their books.
