We are Scientists!

A note from the Principal

It’s hard to believe that we only have six more weeks left of the academic year. For many of our students and families, thoughts are already turning to the long summer break ahead. For others, this will also be a period of transition and change.

If we can help support you in any way during this time, please do contact your Class Teacher or Year Group Leader. We hope that the final weeks of term are filled with celebration and a strong sense of connection, as we bring another busy and successful year together to a close.

Timestableathon

We will be having our 'Timestableathon' on Wednesday 20th May. A letter with more information about this was sent home with your child. Please also scan the QR code for a video about this from the student council.

Grief, Loss and bereavement

In one weeks' time, our teachers will deliver three lessons on loss, grief, and bereavement as part of our Well-being (PSHE) curriculum.

Grief and loss are part of our lives, and so it is important to provide children with the skills they need to manage difficult feelings, to understand grief and to be able to support others. All materials will be very carefully chosen, and age appropriate.

Most importantly, if your child has experienced a significant loss or bereavement, recently or in the past, or if there is a family member or friend who is seriously ill, please contact your child’s class teacher. We can discuss with you whether it is appropriate for them to be in the lesson and be prepared to give them any additional support they may need.

IMPORTANT – A Great Opportunity for Young Artists!
Are you ready to share your creativity with the world?

We are excited to invite all students aged 6–16 to take part in the Mayors for Peace International Art Exhibition in Thailand 2026, organized by UNHCR Thailand, the Ministry of Interior, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

Theme: “What Peace Means to Me”

This is your chance to express your ideas of peace through art and showcase your work alongside Thai, international, and refugee students, celebrating diversity and unity through creativity.

Selected artworks will be displayed in a special exhibition in Bangkok city centre this June, bringing together young artists from across Thailand.

Outstanding artworks will advance to the international exhibition in NEW YORK, where pieces from around the world will be showcased.

Submission Deadline: 31 May 2026

For more information, please follow the attached guideline.

Checking and labelling your child’s belongings

Parents often come into the Primary Office looking for their child’s belongings.

When personal items are clearly labelled, they can easily be returned to the owner.

Things are harder to return when they arrive in lost property without a label.

Please help by checking all items that are worn, or brought into, school by your child.

If you find any belongings that do not belong to your child, please send them back into school via the class teacher.

Children will sometimes take home the wrong hat, water bottle, PE kit and even school shoes.
