Well being
We are kind and compassionate.
Christmas wear!
Next week, there are some dressing up opportunities for the students [and staff] to get involved in. Tuesday is Christmas Hat Day where the students can choose to wear a Christmas hat to compliment their school uniform. On Friday, it will be our party day and the students are encouraged to wear Christmas t-shirts, jumpers or dress in red and green. They could also wear Christmas headbands, hats and ears!
Year 2 Christmas Shoebox Appeal
If you would still like to contribute to our Year 2 charity Christmas shoebox there is still time. Please can we ask that you stick to the list so that all of the children get a similar gift in order to be fair.
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Soap
- Face cloth [flannel]
- Coloured pencils or crayons
- Colouring book
- Small packet of sweets
- Small snack (eg. small pack of potato chips)
- Small packet of biscuits
- Small toy suitable for either a boy or girl.
We would love for the shoe boxes to be wrapped in Christmas paper but request that the lid is wrapped separately and the boxes NOT sealed.
Swimming
Good news, starting in Term 2 the students will resume their weekly swimming lessons. Please check your individual class blogs to see which day your child will need to bring in their swimming kits.
New CSL provision
The current Hybrid CSL model will continue until the end of Term 1. At the moment, we wish to support our students’ learning the best we can, but we are moving to a CSL model for the following situations:
The student’s class/year group is closed for 3 days because of a Covid+ case/s.
The student is in 14 day isolation because they are Covid+ or a high risk contact.
- The student has been overseas since the beginning of the academic year (August 2021) and is not able to return before 10th January 2022.
The situations in which we will not provide Hybrid CSL for are:
The student is on holiday or visiting family, including leaving school mid-term to travel.
The student is generally unwell. This includes symptomatic Covid+ cases. Once the student is well again, CSL will be provided for the remainder of their isolation period.
If a student is identified as low risk or no risk.
Other circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.
For queries, please contact the Primary Office.
