Well-being

Optional afternoon snack before the bus

As students cannot eat on the bus, you are welcome to send in a snack that they can eat in class in the afternoon before they get on the bus.  We will provide a window of time each day where they can eat this snack before their bus journey (or ECA when they begin).  Please remember that we are a nut free school and remind your child that they cannot share their snack with anyone.

Safety - use of playgrounds and equipment.

Students are not allowed to climb on the playground equipment before or after school.

They are also not permitted to get the play equipment out on the blue area at these times.  If you have helpers who bring your children to school, please can you let them know this?

Learning

Identity Boxes

Your child will bring home their identity box now that it is ready.  Please help them to think about putting in things that show who they are.  Please also remind them that these boxes will stay in school for a few weeks- they should not include an item that they would miss during this time.  Perhaps a picture or photo of it would be best.

Junk modelling

Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot accept and recycling from home for junk modelling.  Thanks very much to those who have tried to send things in.

Logging in to the Parents' Gateway and subscribing to blogs

If you would like to be emailed when your child's class blog has a new post, subscribe to the blog.  Here is a video on how to do that.

Global Citizenship

Please ensure that your child has a hat and water bottle in school every day.  If they do not have their water bottle, they have to use lots of paper cups throughout the day.
