Learning in Term 1B- Let's celebrate!
We will be looking at celebrations in our families and around the world. Our main driving question is 'How are the celebrations in my family similar to celebrations in other families?' To find out more, here is the link to our curriculum page.

PARENT HOME LANGUAGE HELPERS
The Parent Home Language Helpers(PHLH) is an initiative in which parents support the learning through the use of their Home Language. For example, our wonderful PHLH are great at coming in and sharing a story in their home language, or helping learners understand more about other languages and cultures. If you would like to be part of the PHLH, please leave your details here and we will get back to you. If you have any questions, or would like to find out more about this, please contact Ms. Ondine at onul@patana.ac.th

School Shoes
As part of their Patana school uniform, our students wear plain black shoes with no coloured trim.
If your child is still coming to school in coloured trainers or shoes, please purchase plain black school shoes over the half term break.
Shoes should support healthy foot growth.
All shoes require at least a strap to keep the shoe firmly in place. No ballet pumps.
Children can wear lace-ups if they can tie up their laces independently.
Plain black school shoes can be sourced in many shops and department stores.
If your child has to wear other shoes for a specific reason, please let us know.
These photographs are all examples of suitable plain black shoes.

- No Nuts!
- Please ensure that any food items sent in do not contain nuts, or any traces of nuts. Please check the ingredients.
- No candles
- The birthday treats must be individual portions – teachers will not be able to cut pieces of cake to be given out.
Please liaise directly with your child’s class teacher to inform them if you will be bringing in treats for your child’s birthday.
