Term 1A Curriculum

Our theme for learning this term is- Who am I?

Please visit the Y1 Curriculum page to find out more.

Introduction to Year 1 meeting

You are warmly invited to attend our optional Introduction to the Learning meetings to be held on Thursday, 1st September. These meetings provide an opportunity for parents to hear more about the learning within each year group, to visit the classroom, and to meet with the class teacher.

Meetings across all year groups are scheduled on the same day and we are offering two identical sessions, to allow for flexibility and sibling arrangements. No sign-up is required and all meetings will take place in your child’s Year Group and classroom. Please kindly note that we currently require masks to be worn indoors.

Junk Modelling

As part of our classrooms and shared areas, we have spaces for the children to create and build their own projects. We are looking for recycled materials to fill our junk modeling boxes such as cardboard, newspapers and plastic bottles etc.

If you have any resources you can donate please send them into class with your child.
