WELCOME BACK!!!

Not sure I should say welcome to the new academic year but hopefully some of you have managed to get away for a break whether that be overseas or somewhere in Thailand outside Bangkok. We spent 4 weeks in Phuket which was nice and quiet and I played a few rounds of golf and watched what seemed liked every hour of the Olympics on the BBC which even without live crowds was captivating.

Sadly after missing the whole of term 3 we are still not sure of when we will be able to return to not only school but also the tennis courts.

As you will hopefully have seen via Cindy and social media there will be live ECA's from 3 pm - 4 pm each day which initially will see Primary tennis skills and more of a cardio session for Secondary.

We will also be setting up other live sessions for our selective groups from last year which we are hoping will also be interactive but in the form of some video analysis or a quiz or even just a chance to reconnect with each other. I am very aware that in the present climate of all lessons being online that screen time needs to be kept to a minimum once the school day has finished but hopefully, we can engage with as many as possible.

The line groups are still in place so please message me with any questions, requests, ideas or just for a general chat at anytime and I will do my best to help.

Hopefully tennis courts around Bangkok will start to open up once the lockdown starts to ease as tennis definitely lends itself nicely to social distancing and even if school is closed your kids and yourselves can get back to playing.

As far as try outs etc go we will re assess this when we have a more defined timeline but certainly the intention initially will be to get all who want to continue back on court training as I would imagine inter school tennis will be delayed even further.

Regards

Dan
