The Path to a unified, sustainable PE & Sport Kit

At Bangkok Patana School, we are proud to champion a sustainable and student-centered approach to PE & Sport kit. Our goal is to reduce unnecessary consumption, support community reuse, and ensure long-term value for families, whilst maintaining high standards for performance and comfort.

PE Kit

  • Versatile, inclusive and sustainable design
  • Primary PE Top: Orange PE shirt
  • Secondary PE Top: House shirt
  • Cross-Campus PE Top: Black PE shirt usable Cross Campus
  • Students choose from shorts, skorts, or leggings
  • PE shorts double as sports shorts, reducing the need for extra purchases
  • Tennis and Basketball shorts also permitted in PE lessons

Academy Kit

  • Football and Tennis academy players (U7+) in competitive fixtures may purchase home and away shirts
  • Recreational and younger players can wear standard PE kit for ECA sessions
  • Gymnastics, Dance and Swimming have specialist kit on sale within the Academies, however do offer two t-shirt color options for team members to wear at events.

Seasonal Sport

Multi-Sport Kit (U11–U15 Seasonal Sport)

  • One unified shirt covers all seasonal sports across these age groups (every 8–10 weeks)
  • No need to purchase a new shirt for each season
  • Greater flexibility for students trying new sports they may or may not continue with long-term
  • Reduced waste and cost for families

Junior Varsity & Varsity (Seasonal Sport)

  • Specialist home and away kits designed with input from the Tiger Sports Council
  • Used across tournaments and seasons
  • Replace the previous practice of ordering one-off away kits for each trip
  • Specialist bottoms available for JV and Varsity teams in Rugby, Touch, Volleyball, Softball, Tennis and Basketball

Travel Kit

  • Available to all students for sports trips, residentials, International Award etc.
  • Undated and event-neutral, wearable across multiple years and occasions

Community Reuse

  • Second-hand kit sales promoted through our Parent Teacher Group (PTG) and wider school community
  • All designs remain consistent for at least three years
  • Removal of event-specific branding (e.g. date, year, venue), allowing reuse year after year
