Choose Your Own Adventure Lesson 3 and 4 (TWINE)

In these pages we are making our CYOA stories in Twine.

If you are making your stories in Slides, then you need to be on the other pages.

Using the flow chart plan you have made, open the Google Slide template from Google Classroom, here.

There are # parts to this and you will need to make reference to either your Slides plan either in Lucid Charts (click to open and login) or your slide above - so have it open in a tab and bookmark it in chrome.

You need to download Twine from Twinery.org - you can use it in you browser, however, there is the chance of losing your work if you don't

1. How Does Twinery Work?

First, let's see what it can do. Watch this clip from 57° North. Spend about 5-10 minutes playing. Then open the file below to see the story structure.

To get started, click use online from Twinery.org and then click import from file.

Then find your 57° North file that you downloaded from here.

2. Making Twine work for you. What do you need to do?

Watch this YouTube clip to get started.

The Rule here is that you pause the video and then try it out yourself.

There are simple ways to build your story fast. Then, use the other videos below to find out how to add, images, sound and special effects to your story to give it a lot more depth.
