Nursery Continuing Student Learning Tuesday 14th September

Learning Advice for Parents

A child aged between 2 and 3 years old needs to be energetic. This can be in short bursts with time for rest and calm, but should amount to at least three hours of a day of exercise including moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity, spread throughout the day!

I wonder if your child can feel how their heart beats faster when they exercise?

Learning Focus

I wonder if you can find fruits and vegetables of different colours?

Do you recognise them all? Are there some new ones that you haven’t tried before?

Do they look different inside?

Do you have to peel everything?

How does the skin feel, is it bumpy or smooth?

Promoting Independence

Let’s encourage and support our children to try something new...be brave, take a risk.

These are some characteristics of an effective learner...

Active Learning

Rainbow Ribbon Dancing

For this you will need to find a long piece of material to swirl and twirl!

Story Time

Oliver's Vegetables

Oliver thinks he doesn’t like vegetables, but on a hunt for the potatoes, Oliver discovers so many yummy vegetables in lots of different recipes!

Check out our digital bookshelf to listen to your favourite stories from last week again:

We Love to See Your Learning!

We really love to see videos and photos of what you have been doing at home. The best way to share this with us is via the Seesaw App. You should have received communication about how to download and login to the app. If you have not received this, please email the ISIT helpdesk- helpdesk@patana.ac.th

Resource Packs

If you have picked up your child's resource pack, they may already be very excited to explore what's inside.  Whilst there may be times that we encourage the use of certain resources, we would love for your child to have access to these, whenever they wish.  Below are some ideas about how you can enhance this learning.

Home-School Communication

We hope that you enjoy engaging with our Nursery Blog.

If you have any concerns or queries about your child’s learning, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher via email. They can then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet via MS Teams. Our class teachers always welcome the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and progress.
