Nursery Continuing Student Learning Monday 25th October

We hope you had a wonderful half term and we cannot wait to hear all about it!

Learning Focus

Transport

We have enjoyed a long break from seeing our Nursery friends on our calls. We have all done different things and been to different places. But one thing we will all have done, is that we have moved from one place to another.

Which ways have you been transported from one place to another over the holidays…?

You might like to draw us a picture of what your journey looked like, including some of the things that you have seen. We value artwork in all its forms. Top tip for grown ups...ask your child to describe their creation, rather than try to ascribe your meaning, let your child explain it to you...

Soft Toy Challenge

Set up four soft toys in a square shape. Place a washing basket in the middle. Can you move to each toy in a different way? For example jumping and hopping. When you reach the toy, try your very best to throw it into the basket. Don’t worry if you miss, try again!

Story Time

We All Go Travelling By

Check out our digital bookshelf to listen to your favourite stories from the week before half term:

We Love to See Your Learning!

What could you share on Seesaw today?

We would love to see some pictures and videos of your child on their half term adventures!  Please do share a couple of sentences about where they went and what they did.  If your child chose to engage in some mark making today, we would love to see.  Perhaps you were able to video them explaining their drawing?

You are not limited to the ideas on the blog.  Perhaps your child has displayed a skill for the first time, such as putting on their socks, or riding a bike?  We love sharing these kind of experiences and achievements too!

Home-School Communication

We hope that you enjoy engaging with our Nursery Blog.

If you have any concerns or queries about your child’s learning, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher via email. They can then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet via MS Teams. Our class teachers always welcome the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and progress.
