Well-being
What time does your child go to bed? Many students have shared that they go to bed quite late. Sleep is linked closely to mental health and well-being. A good night's sleep equals a good day's learning. Every morning, students in Year 6 complete a Zones of Regulation reflection. where they identify which zone they are in: blue, green, yellow or red.
Many share that they are in the blue zone because they are tired and not ready to learn. Use the chart below to see how many hours your child needs to be ready for learning.

PE rotation
Children must change out of their PE kits after PE lessons. Please ensure that your child brings their uniform with them to school.
Children who have Cross Country during lunch time should come to school wearing their school uniform and change into their PE kit at the beginning of lunch time.
Home Learning
Home learning is set every Friday on the class blogs - students are expected to complete their home learning by Wednesday of the following week.
Here is the link directly to the Year 6 blogs.
Global Citizenship
Loi Krathong
Loy Krathong is on Tuesday 8th November 2022. We would love to see the children in their traditional dress or Thai costumes on the day.
Events around the world
You can keep up to date with current events around the world by watching Newsround, an age appropriate news show. Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class, and it is an ideal opportunity for you to model discussing your opinions and using experiences to draw connections between events and people.
