Living our values
We are motivated and engaged
A note from the Principal
A very warm welcome to Term 1B and a new feature in our weekly newsletter. It has been a wonderful week in Primary, with some very exciting happenings across the school.
On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome back our Tiny Tigers after a break of two years. At our first session, we had 12 lovely young learners join us and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring their new surroundings and making friends with our turtles! We were also amazed by the work of our budding atomic Scientists, as supported by our special visitors Ruben and Ian. It has been an action-packed Science Week, which has included a parent workshop, assemblies, coaching for our Science advocates and high quality Science lessons for our students.
Proud of you Patana!

Well-being
Healthy Snacks
We encourage students to bring healthy, reasonably sized snacks to school. A reminder that candy and chocolate are not allowed in school.
It is also our school policy that students do not share snacks.
There are plenty of healthy choices sold during break times and after school at our snack bar.
Thank you for your support.

Global Citizenship
Loi Krathong
This is a gentle reminder that Loi Krathong is on Tuesday 8th November 2022. We would love to see the children in their traditional dress or Thai costumes on the day.
If you would like to purchase a new outfit online, please see the below for some helpful links, otherwise you can explore a local market or a superstore nearby.

Friendship Friday
We are very excited to be welcoming some of our charities onto campus to
help our students learn more about the causes we support and why. For the
first time this year, there will also be an exhibition and market from 7am
outside the Primary Library for our parent community to learn more and purchase
goods made by our charities. We hope lots of parents are able attend.
Events around the world
You can keep up to date with current events around the world by watching Newsround, an age appropriate news show. Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class, and it is an ideal opportunity for you to model discussing your opinions and using experiences to draw connections between events and people.

- Brownies, cupcakes and individual cake slices are easier for your child to give out.
- Please reduce plastic packaging as much as possible.
- We do not allow party bags or other gifts to be given out at school, either for birthdays, or other celebrations.
Temporary Guardianship Form - let us know if both parents are going away and leaving a student with a friend, nanny or a maid.
