Dance Festival 2022

Registration is now open for the much-awaited annual dance festival by Tiger’s Dance Academy. Scan the QR code to register.

Devices for Learning

Dear parents, guardians and helpers,

Next week during ICT lessons, the students will need headphones as we are producing the first part of our computer games and sound is essential.

We will be adding our prototype games to our MeowBits (right) and will need access to USB also.

If your child uses an iPad, then please allow them to bring a USB type C connector should you have one at home. We have some and an alternative way to share the games, however if you have your own it will help immensely.

Reporting Covid cases and CSL provision

Please remember to contact the school nurse if your child tests positive for Covid. The school nurse will inform you of any quarantine requirements.

If your child is sick or has any Covid symptoms, please keep them at home and monitor them.

CSL online learning is only available to students who have tested positive for Covid or students who have been requested to quarantine at home.

Primary FOBISIA returns after 3 years!

If your child is a keen sports person who thinks that they would like to try out for our team of 10 x Boys and 10 x Girls from Y6 to compete in football, Tee Ball, swimming and athletics at the Primary FOBISIA Games please read on. Details of what trying out for our FOBISIA Team will look like can be found on the following link;

Interclass Basketball  - Monday 26th September

Year 6 will have an Interclass basketball competition on the 26th September during their PE lessons. Parents are welcome to come along to support.

Please note class colours that students should wear for these sporting events:

6B - Blue   6D - Green   6F - Yellow  6J - Grey    

6L - Black   6P - Pink      6S - Red       6T - White   

Swimming Gala

Year 6 will have a swim gala on the 10th October from 7:40 to 9:45am in the 50m pool. Parents are welcome to come along to support the event.

Please ensure that you child brings in their swim suit, swim hat, googles, a towel and sun cream. We look forward to celebrating this event with you.

Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class, and it is an ideal opportunity for you to model discussing your opinions and using experiences to draw connections between events and people.

Birthdays 

There are no birthdays in Y6 next week.

We are a NUT FREE school. Please when ordering birthday treats double check before bringing treats on the campus. Many toppings offered by some donut shops have flaked almonds in their toppings and peanut butter fillings.

Temporary Guardianship Form - let us know if both parents are going away and leaving a student with a friend, nanny or a maid.
