Living our values

We are balanced and fulfilled

A note from the Principal

A note from the Principal

This week, we have thoroughly enjoyed the Y3 – Y6 Sports Days. Our students did themselves and their classes proud as they took part in a number of events and races. With team spirit and laughter in plentiful supply, it was excellent fun and really rewarding. Thank you to all the Parents who could join us and to the PE team for their wonderful organisation.

On Saturday, our community is extremely excited to host the Ploenchit Fair. As I was new to Patana last year, this will be the first time that I have taken part in this and I am really looking forward to it! I will be helping at the Patana train from 11.30am – 1pm and I hope to see lots of your there! Do pop by to say hello!

Proud of you Patana!

Sarah McCormack

PE - bringing in a change of clothes

We are noticing a number of students coming into school without a school uniform to change into after PE lessons. Please ensure your child brings in their full uniform and school shoes for after their lesson so that they are clean, cool and comfortable for the rest of the day.

Many thanks for your support with this.

Primary PE Personal Challenge Week

Students will be participating in their Star Challenge and Fitness Challenges next week (Friday 9th and Monday 12th December) during their PE lessons. They have received information regarding this in assembly or from teachers. A copy of the powerpoint is here . Please read for full information!

A polite reminder that if they choose to do the scoot option, scooters must be labelled clearly with Name and Class. Only fold up scooters will be allowed on School transport, and helmets are compulsory. Scooters / skates can be stored in the Sportshall Foyer in the morning and can remain there until the end of the day for collection.

Events around the world

You can keep up to date with current events around the world by watching Newsround, an age appropriate news show. Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class, and it is an ideal opportunity for you to model discussing your opinions and using experiences to draw connections between events and people.

Birthday Treats

We are a NUT FREE school.  Children may bring in a special treat to share with the class.

Please contact the class teacher to arrange a suitable time.

  • Brownies, cupcakes and individual cake slices are easier for your child to give out.
  • Please reduce plastic packaging as much as possible.
  • We do not allow party bags or other gifts to be given out at school, either for birthdays, or other celebrations.

Temporary Guardianship Form - let us know if both parents are going away and leaving a student with a friend, nanny or a maid.
