Well-Being

Learning

Climate change and rising sea levels

This week, students have been set a home learning task to design a model that will help them to understand how the melting ice in the Arctic and Antarctica affects the sea level.

Most of the equipment will be supplied in school, but some students have asked if they can bring in some things from home. This is okay, but please don't go out to purchase anything that is not already at home.

General Information:

Year 6 Memory Book

Every year, Year 6 students take part in preparing a Memory Book. Each child is asked to prepare a page based on their memories from Primary School. Details about this will follow in a home learning task.

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, we will work together with Khun Pook, a 6C Patana parent, who will coordinate the project and prepare a timeline. This timeline will help guide parents, teachers and students.

Each class will have a parent representative, so please direct any questions to them. Their names and contact details will be made available with the timeline.

Parent representatives, please wait for the timeline to be published in the newsletter before contacting class teachers for photograph requests.

Lost Property

Parents and children are encouraged to search lost property before purchasing replacement items.

Please visit https://patana.fireflycloud.asia/community-events/lost-property.

Birthdays:

Nut free Primary School

For some children, any exposure to nuts is potentially very dangerous and can be life threatening.

We do not allow any nuts to be brought into Primary. This includes snacks on school transport, birthday treats and food items brought in for any other special days.

Happy birthday to the Year 6 students celebrating their birthday this week.
