Year 6 Sports Day

On Monday 25th November, Year 6 will have their annual Sports Day.

Year 6 will start on the Hard Court, and will then have track events after break time.

On Monday, students should come to school dressed ready for the event. They should have the following with them:

  • PE Group colour t shirt
  • sun cream
  • hat
  • named water bottle

Please remind your child to bring in their school uniform and school shoes ready to change into afterwards.

We look forward to celebrating this event with you.

Global Citizenship

Year 6 Charity Christmas Shoeboxes

As part of our charity work, we encourage Year 6 children to think about how we can help others who may not receive special gifts during our holiday period.

This year, we are asking each family to help us by providing a shoebox filled with essential items, gifts and toys for a child. More information about this organisation can be found via the following link: https://www.a21.org/index.php?site=true

Each student will receive a label with the age and gender of the child who will receive the gift. Please fill your shoebox with items that are appropriate for this particular age group. If you would like to contribute, please provide a shoebox with a selection of the gifts listed below inside:

  • Hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap or small towels
  • Clothing such as socks or t-shirts
  • Schools Supplies - anything they may need in school such as pencils, rubbers, coloured pencils
  • Toys – soft toys, balls and easy books to read

DO NOT include any of the following items:

  • anything that has already been used or damaged
  • any war related items such as knives, toy guns etc.
  • anything breakable or that needs batteries to work
  • any electrical items
  • no food or liquids (drinks)

Please wrap the box and the lid separately as all boxes must be checked.

Stick the label on it and put your child’s name and class on the front. Remember to decorate your shoebox and leave a Christmas Card wishing them ‘Happy Christmas’.

Please send your contribution into school by Monday 9th December. Thank you in advance for bringing a big smile to the face of a child in need!

Winter Clothing Appeal

Year 6 students can bring donations to the Y6 Shared Area.

Year 5 annual BBB

On the 4th December, Year 5 will have their annual Bring, Buy and Bake Sale. They have invited Year 6 students to attend this event.

Students who would like to take part in this event, should bring in no more than 100 baht in small denominations.

Birthdays:

Nut free Primary School

For some children, any exposure to nuts is potentially very dangerous and can be life threatening.

We do not allow any nuts to be brought into Primary. This includes snacks on school transport, birthday treats and food items brought in for any other special days.

Happy birthday to the Year 6 students celebrating their birthday this week.
