Supporting our Year 13 students
Dear parents,
As part of my IB Business project, I am reviewing and supporting the school in identifying how we can best promote and improve our school shop. I would greatly appreciate your support by completing this short survey with your invaluable feedback.
Thank you in advance for your support with this.

Learning
PSHE
This week in PSHE, we have been learning about our mental health.
We looked at the fact that we all have mental health. Mental health is on a continuum. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes we need support.
We explored stress and how this can affect our mental health. Then, we explore how our bodies feel when we are feeling stressed. It's important for us to know this so we can recognise when we are feeling stressed.
Next week, we will continue to explore this and healthy responses to stress.
Please encourage your child to speak about their mental health and their feelings. Talk is a wonderful tool.

Year 5 Swimming: Pajama swim !
LIFESAVING AND WATER SAFETY: Please can students bring Pajamas or a lightweight long sleeved top and shorts / long sleeved trousers to their swimming lesson week beginning Monday 28th November.
All students will be learning vital lifesaving and water safety skills, wearing these clothes over the top of their swim kits. Therefore please do not forget to bring your actual swim kits to the lesson as well! Students and class teachers will receive a reminder nearer to the lesson also.
Children must change out of their PE kits after PE lessons. Please ensure that your child brings their uniform with them to school.
Children who have Cross Country during lunch time should come to school wearing their school uniform and change into their PE kit at the beginning of lunch time.

Events In The World
You can keep up to date with current events around the world by watching Newsround, an age appropriate news show. Being aware of current events will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class, and it is an ideal opportunity for you to model discussing your opinions and using experiences to draw connections between events and people.
