Lunchtime

Congratulations to Maya Hornby (5B) for being a global citizen! During the holidays she was an 'active volunteer' by collecting litter from the beach in order to care for the local environment and the coral reefs.

"Me and my family's actions supported the coral reef by picking up styrofoam, string (fishing tack), plastic bottles, and... BABY NAPPYS ( I did not pick that up that was my dad). It was a 25 minute clean up, but it helped the beach and the marine life that live there too, for example if that string (fishing tack) went in the sea the turtles could get strangled from it."

Maya Hornby 5B

We will share more photographs and quotes from your holidays throughout this week so please keep sending them to us!
