Living our Values

We are inquisitive and creative

Our students were delighted to welcome back the surfing scientist, Ruben Meerman, this week.  He definitely ignites their curiosity and gets them very excited about science.  Y4 cannot wait to learn more about atomic theory which will be coming up soon.  If you want to see more of Ruben Meerman and Ian Stewart, please come along to the parent keynote on Monday at 8:00 in the Conference Centre (CON 420).

Well-being

How easy do you find it to feed your child in the morning?  Through PSHE sessions, it has been shared by a number of our students that they do not eat before school in the mornings as they find it is too early or they are too rushed to get out of the house in the morning.

We are very happy to work with you if this is something that your child finds challenging.  Please communicate with your child's class teacher- we would like to be able to support you.  For students to be able to concentrate and learn throughout the morning, a meal to start the day and a healthy snack at break time are vital.

Learning

In science over the next two weeks, classes will be doing some testing of sound through various experiments.  There will be a pool session where your child will need their swimming kit.  They also have the option of bringing a snorkel and mask if they have one.  Normal swimming goggles would also be fine.

Your child's class teacher will let the class know their day for testing sounds in the pool.
