Sharing our Learning Assembly 18.3.20Theatre Y4 students would like to invite you to see some of the things that we have been learning.

Well-being

Please help your child to remember the importance of hand washing.  In Y4 many teachers have the students sing two rounds of 'Happy birthday to me' as they scrub their hands with soap.  This helps a little with keeping track of the time they are washing their hands.

Learning

Science in the swimming pool

Next week, classes will be doing some testing of sound through various experiments.  There will be a pool session where your child will need their swimming kit.  They also have the option of bringing a snorkel and mask if they have one.  Normal swimming goggles would also be fine.

We will have to monitor the AQI- these sessions may need to be postponed to the following week, depending on the pollution levels each day.

Interclass Teeball

Year 4 have their next Interclass Teeball Event on Tuesday 10th March.

This is a great opportunity for them to show off their learning and use their striking and fielding skills against the other classes!

Family and friends are welcome to come and support Year 4 on the Primary Back field during the following times:

Year 4A, 4T, 4C and 4K from 7.40am - 8.40am

Year 4L, 4H, 4D and 4B from 8.45am – 9.45am

All players will need PE Kit (including a T-shirt of their class colour), football boots, water bottles and a hat.

We look forward to an exciting morning of sport!

Global Citizenship

Our Smile Day theme is to…

‘Say something funny for money’.

Everyone is encouraged to wear bright, happy colours that make you smile and choose a funny poem, limerick, tongue twister or rhyme to share with their friends on Smile Day.

We will be asking for donations of 100 baht on the day.

This money will be donated to Operation Smile, who then provide free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children throughout Thailand.
