Well Being

Birthdays

Children may bring in a special treat to share with the class on their birthday.

Please contact the class teacher to arrange a suitable time.

  • Individual brownies, cupcakes and cookies are easy for your child to give out.
  • All birthday treats must be nut free.

Please do not bring in gifts for the class, either for birthdays, or on other special celebration days.

Smart Watches

We encourage children to wear a watch to school, to help them keep track of time and develop independence.

Many smart watches allow for phone and message contact, internet access, online games, and other features that they do not need in school.

Access to games via a smart watch distracts children from other social play activities and planned learning.

If your child does have a smart watch, please talk with your child about which functions can and cannot be used in school.

Some watches will allow you to limit the functions available to your child.

General Information

U-Smile

The U-Smile return dates for purchasing photos has been extended to the week after half term- Monday 28th February to Friday 4th March.

Birthdays

If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher.

We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut-free Primary School.

Happy Birthday to these students, who are celebrating this week...
